Jacky Mussry currently holds office as Deputy CEO at MarkPlus, Inc. and also leads MarkPlus, Inc.’s training and education business unit, MarkPlus Institute. MarkPlus Institute, in collaboration with the School of Business and Management, Institut Teknologi Bandung (SBM-ITB), currently organize a post-graduate program, Executive MBA in Strategic Marketing. This is the first program offering EMBA in Strategic Marketing in Indonesia. His area of expertise is marketing and strategy, nurtured with around 20 years of consulting experience spanning multiple industries in Indonesia. He is also known as a public speaker and trainer, having conducted many seminars and trainings. He routinely delivers guest lectures at several well-known universities in Indonesia on marketing and strategy related subjects. Occasionally, he serves as an examiner or co-promoter for doctoral degree students from University of Indonesia as well as a supervisor of final projects of master degree students at SBM-ITB. He has written many articles as well as several popular books published in Indonesia. In 2012, he launched the Indonesian adaptation of Services Marketing book written by late Christopher Lovelock and Jochen Wirtz. In 2013, he was one of the speakers at the Kellogg Innovation Network (KIN) event held at Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University as well as a speaker at KIN ASEAN held in Jakarta in 2016. He was also one of the honorable judges and mentors in “Crossing the Chasm Challenge” organized by Asia Centre for Social Entrepreneurship and Philanthropy, National University of Singapore Business School in 2016. He obtained his Diploma in Civil Engineering (Building & Roadway Construction) from Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember. He accomplished his Bachelor of Economics (Marketing Management), Master of Management (Marketing Management), and Doctorate in Management (Strategic Management) at the University of Indonesia. He is a holder of Certified Professional Marketer (Asia-Pacific) and is now assigned as a team member to revise the syllabuses of CPM. He is the Director of Tourism at Indonesia Marketing Association as well as the Head of Philip Kotler Center for ASEAN Marketing Foundation. He is also the Executive Director of Marketing Professional Certification Institute and as the Executive Vice President of International Council for Small Business (ICSB) both in Indonesia.
