11:00am - 12:30pm Corporate Social Partnerships
Tuesday Sep 19 - Subhadra
Traditionally, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has been viewed as a cost center whose budgets need to be closely monitored, as such activities may be perceived as counter to shareholder interests. Eden’s pioneering work with multinationals such as GE, Covidien, and Nokia demonstrate that CSR could be instead structured as a powerful profit driver. Participants will be presented with the novel and comprehensive typology of eight Corporate Social Partnership Models developed in-house, based on the various permutations and interactions of drivers such as Price, Cost, and Quantity across different time horizons. They will also have the chance to learn from real life experiences shared by the speakers at their respective corporates, and gain an in-depth understanding of the benefits of partnerships formed and lessons learnt along the way. SEs and Corporates seeking to form such partnerships will benefit greatly from this session.
